St Martin’s School proudly hosted an unforgettable day of sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and global camaraderie as we welcomed the touring netball and soccer teams from Wellingborough School, England.
The day began with a warm reception from our High School team captains, who greeted the visiting players with true South African hospitality. A special lunch held in the school’s tranquil Rose Garden set the tone for connection, laughter, and shared stories a fitting introduction to the friendships that would blossom throughout the day.
Following the welcome, the excitement moved to the courts and fields where netball and soccer matches delivered thrilling moments and impressive displays of teamwork, talent, and passion from both schools. The energy on and off the field was electric, with students, staff, and supporters cheering in a spirit of friendly competition and unity.
St Martin’s School is honoured to have hosted Wellingborough School and looks forward to continuing to foster international relationships that enrich learning, celebrate diversity, and inspire young people to connect beyond borders.
