One by one, the Grade 12s of  Volksrust High School lined up by Room 31, pressed their painted hands to the wall, and stepped back to see the mark they made. No two prints are the same — just like no two journeys through the school have been the same. Laughter, late-night studying, friendships, and all the small moments that shaped these years are now pressed into that wall.

This hand-painted mural is more than a Matric tradition. It’s a promise that even when the Class of 2026 walks out for the last time, they’ll go out there and leave their mark.
