On the 8th of February, 2025, Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School karateka represented the Umgungundlovu district at the KZN selections and performed exceptionally well. Nitara won Gold in the Kumite 16-17 years, under 53kgs weight division, and Kritika won Silver in the Kumite 14-15 years, under 48kgs weight division, earning them their KZN colours. So far, the school has only hosted the Academic Awards Ceremony, separate from the Sports and Culture awards, which I believe will take place next term. I hope what I have sent will be a great help.
