Matric English Home Language Debate fun at Volksrust High School. The matric English Home Language learners concluded their classroom time before the trial exam on a robust note as they engaged in debate sessions. Through their arguments, they sought to answer the questions: “Is Hamlet a character to be sympathised with?” and “Is the study of literature at all relevant and necessary?” Different viewpoints were intelligently explored and the speakers gave us intriguing points to ponder. -Ms S Dladla
