Paul Roos Gymnasium had 11 athletes representing Boland at the ASA u/16, u/18 and u/20 National Track & Field Championships held at the NWU McArthur Athletics Stadium in Potchefstroom between Thursday, 31 March and Saturday, 2 April 2022. These athletes qualified to represent Boland by virtue of meeting very stringent qualifying times/distances/heights and shone on the biggest stage in the country.

Joshua Acker (Boys u/18 Shotput) and Reuben van der Merwe (Boys u/16 Javelin) both won silver medals for their respective events while Zak Hickman claimed a bronze medal for Boys u/16 Hammer throw and Handre Nel also won bronze for Boys u/18 Pole-vault. Congratulations to all Paul Roos Gymnasium coaches, parents and athletes involved in a very successful athletics season!
