Big News from the Dojo: Zachary Takes on the World! Norman Henshilwood High School  “Normies” community has a lot to celebrate this week! While he’s been away from the halls, Zachary has been busy making a name for himself on the karate mat both across the country and across the border.Here is a quick look at his incredible journey:National Success: Competing in a brand-new division (adjusted for age and weight), Zachary fought his way to a Bronze Medal at the National Championships! Going International: Just three days later, Zachary traded his school gear for South African colors, traveling to Harare, Zimbabwe, to represent SA at the World Karate Federation (WKF) international competition.

 

World Class Talent: While the international stage is tough, Zachary showed he absolutely belongs there. He officially walked away with a World Ranking, currently sitting at #85 in the world for his category!

We are incredibly proud of Zachary’s dedication, sportsmanship, and the way he represents the Normies spirit on the global stage. Drop a “Congratulations” in the comments below to celebrate our world-ranked athlete!
