Dundee High School enjoyed another memorable sporting weekend, with its young sportsmen and women making their mark in both cricket and tennis.

DHS Cricket Girls Impress at Super 8 Tournament

The DHS girls’ cricket team produced an outstanding performance at the Super 8 Cricket Tournament hosted at Dundee High School on Saturday, 25 July.

The home side started strongly against Pionier, securing an impressive eight-wicket victory. They carried that momentum into their next encounter against the Northern KZN Invitational side, once again claiming victory by eight wickets. These two commanding performances earned Dundee a place in the final against Ferrum 1.

Although Ferrum proved too strong in the final and secured a 34-run victory, the DHS girls could hold their heads high after an excellent tournament. Reaching the final and producing two convincing victories highlighted the talent, determination and growing strength of girls’ cricket at Dundee High School.

DHS Tennis Players Fly the Flag for Northern KZN
