New Horizon College Bethlehem proudly hosted its annual Harvest Festival, a heartwarming event that brought together learners, staff, parents and members of the community in the true spirit of giving.

This year’s Harvest Festival was held in support of three incredible organisations: Pathways, Bambelela, and Salileni. These organisations play a vital role in empowering, caring for and supporting vulnerable children and families within our community. The event served as a reminder that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to change lives.

One of the highlights of the festival was the incredible generosity shown by the New Horizon College community. Learners, parents and staff donated a wide range of non-perishable food items, including canned goods, rice, pasta, long-life milk and toiletries. These donations will be distributed among Pathways, Bambelela and Salileni, helping to provide much-needed support to the individuals and families they serve.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our generous community partners for their invaluable contributions. A special thank you to Tommie Pitout from Village Square Pharmacy, Rudi Habron from SPAR, and Sistra Supplies for their generous donation and kind support. Your willingness to give back to the community has made a meaningful impact and truly reflects the spirit of the Harvest Festival.

The Harvest Festival was about far more than collecting donations—it was a celebration of gratitude, compassion, inclusion and service. It gave our learners the opportunity to put the school’s values into action by demonstrating empathy, generosity and social responsibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

New Horizon College extends its sincere appreciation to every learner, parent, staff member, community member and sponsor who contributed to making the Harvest Festival 2026 such a tremendous success. Your kindness and generosity have touched many lives and demonstrated the strength of a community that cares.

Together, we learn. Together, we grow. Together, we thrive.
Thank you for making the Harvest Festival 2026 a truly memorable celebration of giving, unity and hope.
