CBC Learners Shine at the Inter-Regional Chess Championship! What a weekend! We’re so proud of our young chess stars who represented the Frances Baard Region with focus, flair, and fierce determination at the Inter-Regional Chess Championship held at Hoërskool Diamantveld from 23–25 May.
Here’s how they did:
- Angus Maboso and his U12 team – Silver in the Elite section
- Joshua Webb and his U16 team – Silver in the Warriors section
- Tahsen Alan and his U16 team – Silver in the Elite section
- Leruo Balatseng and her U18 team – Gold in the Elite section
