Five Dundee High School orators through to national finals. We are ecstatic to announce that five of our learners have been selected to participate in the National Final SALA Public Speaking Competition.  Well done to Khwezi Molefe, Ofentste Nkoagatse, Michael Molefe, Thando Sikhakhane and Entle Zondi.  These learners will be taking part in the final round on 21 October in Witbank.  Congratulations to these learners – we wish them everything of the best.  We would like to also thank Mrs Dawood and Mrs Sewmangal who have worked tirelessly in order to help these learners develop their talents.

Dundee High School netball teams beats them all. On Saturday 16 September, the DHS first netball team took part in the Spar Girls Fast Five Netball Tournament.  They played 7 games and won every game.  The scores were as follows:

• DHS vs FERRUM                12 – 4
• DHS vs PIONIER                 6 – 4
• DHS vs Vryheid High 1    5 – 4
• DHS vs Pionier21              10 – 3
• DHS vs Newcastle            9 – 5
• DHS vs Vryheid H 2          8 – 7
• DHS vs Sarel                       11 – 3

In the semi-finals the DHS ladies played against Pionier 1 and we won 11 – 5 which put them through to the finals against Newcastle High.  DHS won 6 – 3. The DHS Netball girls have won the SPAR GIRLS FAST 5 TOURNAMENT this year and defended their title as the Northern KZN winners.
