Westcliff School of Skills made history by hosting the largest welding competition ever held in the Western Cape’s School of Skills sector, bringing together 26 learners from 14 schools across the province.

Westcliff delivered an outstanding performance, securing an impressive first- and second-place finish:

Competitors were challenged to construct a heavy-duty car trestle stand from scratch under strict safety requirements and time pressure. The task tested their blueprint reading, metal cutting, fabrication and welding skills.
