Stulting Primary School  current Life Skills theme in Grade 3 is “𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.” As part of this, our Grade 3 learners had an unforgettable experience with Rems Medical as they dived into the world of basic health protection! From stepping inside a real ambulance to learning lifesaving skills, this hands-on demonstration had everyone on the edge of their seat!

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲:

Basic wound care & splinting – because knowing what to do in an emergency can make all the difference;

biohazards & safety – understanding why we must protect ourselves from body fluids;

calling for help – when and how to dial the right emergency number and

first aid kits – a sneak peek into essential emergency supplies, perfectly leading into our upcoming art project where learners will create their own first aid kits!
