After a 19-year drought, the A  team swimmers from St Mary’s School, Waverley, have finally brought the inter-high premier gala trophy home. St Mary’s last won this trophy in 2003 when current coach, Cindy Brown was the captain of the team. In 2010 the school lost by one point and two points in 2011. Not to be outdone the St Mary’s School, Waverley, B swimming team swam into 2^nd place in the A gala. They were beaten by a strong team from Brescia House School. The St Mary’s swimming team has had a very successful season, being winners also of the Summer Splash and the National Aquatics Festivals.
