Selborne College hosted their nineteenth edition Tennis Tournament

Selborne and Clarendon hosted the nineteenth edition of the tournament this past weekend. The tournament’s aim has been to boost tennis in the Eastern Cape and is one of the few tournaments in the country that follows a boys’ singles, girls’ singles and mixed doubles format.
The Selborne/Clarendon pool results were as follows:
- beat Invitational Side (34-2)
- beat Merrifield (32-5)
- lost Pearson (10-25)
Playoff results:
- In the semi-finals, Selborne/Clarendon lost Stirling High School (5-20)
- In the 3rd/4th playoff match, Selborne/Clarendon lost Grey High/Collegiate (10-20)
Selborne/Clarendon finished the Tournament in 4th place.
Special mention goes to Uyintando Malotana, who won the Best Number 5 Player, and Jack Green, who won 7 out of his 8 matches.
