Ligbron Akademie vir Tegnologie sluit hokkie seisoen op ‘n hoë noot af

Ligbron Akademie vir Tegnologie se seunshokkiespanne het in hul laaste ligawedstryde vir die seisoen kragte gemeet teen Hoërskool Ermelo. Dit was ‘n goeie dag vir die Liggies, wie se 1ste – en O.16 spanne hul wedstryde gewen het.

Die eerste spanne was in ‘n taai stryd gewikkel, maar daar was min fout te vind met die Liggies se spel en hulle het daarin geslaag om die wedstryd met 3 doele teen 1 te wen. Hul sukses kan toegeskryf word aan hul ongelooflike verdediging wat dit vir die Erries onmoontlik gemaak het om meer as een doel aan te teken. Daarmee saam het die uitstekende afgeronde spel van hul voorspelers gesorg dat hulle die wedstryd domineer. Ligbron het seker gemaak dat hul van elke geleentheid gebruik maak om doele aan te teken. Tladi Magupurotsi het twee doele aangeteken en Ibrahim Jasaat het die derde doel aangeteken.

Die Liggies se O.16 span was van die begin af in beheer van die wedstryd. Hulle sterk aanvallende spel het gesorg vir skitterende doele, met die Erries wat selde by hul doelhok uitgekom het. Hulle beklink die wedstryd 4 – 1 in hul guns. Andries Burger is aangewys as die beste verdediger en Wandile Gwiji as die beste voorspeler.

Die Erries se O.14 span het vroeër die seisoen aan die liga onttrek wat beteken dat Ligbron punte gekry het.

Ligbron is trots op hierdie hokkieseuns wat die liga op ‘n hoogtepunt afgesluit het.
