On Monday, 3 February 2025, Creston College held a ceremony for the Grade 8 class to welcome them into the College Phase. This included the bell ringing and tie ceremony and the official signing of the register. The bell ringing ceremony has been a tradition for the College Phase learners since its inception in 2018. The ceremonial bell is rung once by the Grade 8 learners when they enter the phase, to signify their formal entry; and again after their Matric year, they ring the bell twice to mark their formal exit from their schooling career.
