Congratulations to the Wynberg Boys’ High School Music Department on a magnificent Sunset Concert! The performances at the John Baxter Outdoor Theatre showed not just the wide variety of musical opportunities on offer at Wynberg, but the depth of talent among musicians, and indeed our teaching staff.

A big thanks to Windworx for joining us for the wonderful final sets under the batons of Peter Catzavelos and Pamela Kierman, both of whom paid touching tributes to the late John Baxter, legendary history teacher and a massive influence on Wynberg’s cultural pillar, who passed away 20 years ago on 23 March 2006, and in whose memory the amphitheatre is named.
