What an unforgettable moment in our Felixton College story… Being selected as one of the schools featured on East Coast Radio My School Rules – Season 2 was a standout highlight, and one that truly captured the heart and spirit of our school.
Our pupils embraced every second of the experience, from welcoming Darren, Sky and Carmen, along with the rest of the incredible East Coast Radio team, to showcasing our talent and energy that makes our school the gem it is. From our War Cry, Marimba and Choir performances to the buzz of the activations on the day, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric.
A proud moment came when Righard du Plessis took top honours in the quiz, securing R10 000 towards his school fees, a testament to both his knowledge and confidence.
The day was filled with memorable experiences, from fun giveaways and a vibrant coffee station to the excitement brought by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts treats, all adding to a celebration that our pupils will never forget.
As the morning drew to a close, the energy continued with a lively Basketball challenge between Uvu and Darren, rounding off a day that perfectly reflected the spirit of our school community.
We also shared a special moment singing Happy Birthday and cutting a cake with East Coast Radio as they are also celebrating their 30 Birthday this year. A fitting way to honour a truly meaningful occasion and milestone we both share.
Moments like these remind us of the opportunities our pupils are given to grow, shine and be part of something bigger. Guided by honour, growing in purpose and celebrating every step of our 30th year journey.
