Audiences of An Open Door on 8 and 9 November were spellbound by the combination of passionate acting, dance and a strong message that we can all learn from. This original play by Terence Livingston was the College’s first drama production since 2019 and was a reminder of the power of the arts. “An Open Door was a play very close to my heart and it was an honour to direct,” said Greg Kyle. “The cast and crew made it such an easy task. They brought skills to the play that I don’t possess and they made the play what it was. I will sincerely miss working with them.

I trust that the heart of God was felt by all involved and hope each cast member was able to truly realise what they are capable of.” The cast was made up of students from the Dramatic Arts Department and others, who do
not take drama as a subject. Together, they put in hours of preparation and the result was spectacular! Special mention must go to Brooke Unsworth, who played the lead role and choreographed the many dance scenes.
