On Saturday, 12 April 2025, Volksrust High School’s netball teams travelled to Groblersdal to compete against Warmbad High School and Hoërskool Ben Viljoen. The girls gave it their all in a series of competitive matches.

The U/14 team played an intense and closely contested game against Warmbad High School, narrowly losing 8-9. Minenhle Mdluli was named Player of the Match for her excellent performance.

The U/15 team also took on Warmbad High School and, despite a good effort, lost 18-10. Angela Brefo stood out as the Player of the Match.

In a fantastic display of teamwork and skill, the U/16 team secured a dominant 30-0 victory over Warmbad High School, with Itumeleng Ntuka earning the Player of the Match title.

The second team showed great determination in their game against Warmbad High but were narrowly defeated 13-10. Asanda Manana was recognised as Player of the Match.

The first team faced Hoërskool Ben Viljoen and, although they lost, every player gave their best and played with commitment and showed great determination.
