Tour de Maths Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge performed superbly at the Tour de Maths competition hosted at Redhill on 1 June. Our five participants all placed in the top 3 with Ashar Johnson’s team placing 3rd, while Kelly Shi and Dumi Moyo’s team came 2nd to the winning team of Jarred Montjoie and Caleb Johnson.  This is a huge achievement for our school as there were over 300 participants from more than 50 schools around Johannesburg. Our team is well-positioned to win the entire competition, we look forward to their further exploits.

Pirates rugby challenge finals “Our Rugby participated in the Pirates Rugby Challenge Finals on Wednesday, 31 May afternoon. The U14 and 1st teams competed in the finals and the U15 and U16 teams played for 3rd and 4th.

The U14 team was unfortunate to lose against King David Linksfield, to a last-minute penalty try. While the 1st XV was also up against King David Linksfield in what proved to be a very competitive and exciting match, they still managed to come out victorious! We are extremely proud of the 1st team for winning the league. Your hard work and consistency throughout the season led you to this victory, it is well deserved. You started the season strong and finished it even stronger!

Results:

U14 lost 12-10 (2nd place)

U15 lost 7-3 (4th place

U16 won 42-7 (3rd place)

1st XV won 16-10 (champions)
