The U16 PlayStation St Andrew’s Hockey, Netball and Squash (SAHNS) Festival 2026, brought to you by Koodoo, took place over the weekend of 20–22 March at St Andrew’s School for Girls.

Now in its fifth year since its inception in 2022, the festival continues to grow from strength to strength, showcasing the talent and sportsmanship of students from across South Africa. This year’s event hosted 28 hockey teams, 28 netball teams, and 12 squash teams, creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere throughout the weekend. The festival was made even more successful through the generous support of sponsors, including PlayStation, Koodoo, and Pick n Pay. Their involvement plays a vital role in making an event of this scale possible.

Matches were also streamed on the SuperSport Schools App, allowing supporters from around the country to be part of the action. Congratulations to all the teams that took part and to the following that placed top 3 in the respective codes:

Squash

  • 1st – Durban Girls College
  • 2nd – St Andrew’s School for Girls
  • 3rd – Egoli Squash

Netball

  • 1st – Reddam Bedfordview
  • 2nd – Redhill School
  • 3rd – St Dunstan’s College

Hockey:

  • 1st – Herschel
  • 2nd – St Mary’s Waverley
  • 3rd – Midstream College

We are looking forward to an even bigger and better festival in 2027.
