St Teresa’s Junior Primary School in Craighall Park, held their Grade 1,2 and 3 Interhouse Sports Day on Saturday 29 July 2023. This year’s theme of “Supporting the Springboks” was embraced wholeheartedly and all the spectators dressed up for the occasion, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Our young athletes had an action-packed morning from flat races and baton relay races to fun-filled races like leapfrog and sack races. A highlight of the morning was the Grade 3 parents’ sack race. All the learners showed outstanding dedication, talent and teamwork.

Congratulations to Marian for claiming victory and well done to Lourdes and McAuley for your sportsmanship. Thanks to everyone from participants to parents, staff, and spectators and especially to our Sports Department and Grade 3 learners, Thandolwenkosi Sibiya, who delivered a warm and welcoming speech, and Daisy Brenner, who expressed heartfelt gratitude at the end of the morning. Their contributions added to the sense of camaraderie and community spirit that made our sports day truly memorable.
