Reddam House Western Cape Class of 2025 shines with top IEB honours and 374 distinctions

Reddam House Western Cape is celebrating a Class of 2025 marked by both top-end academic excellence and strong consistency across each campus. Reddam House Constantia achieved 303 distinctions, with 70% of students securing an A or B aggregate, while Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard saw a third of the cohort earn four or more distinctions. With multiple IEB Top 1% subject placements and two national IEB honours, the results reflect a group of students who paired ambition with discipline throughout the year.

Top achievers
Reddam House Constantia celebrates the following students for outstanding overall achievement in the 2025 IEB examinations:
- Nine distinctions: Keira Winter
- Eight distinctions: Emma Brodziak
- Seven distinctions: Joshua Barham-Smith, Jack Harding and Sophie-Marie Nichles
Keira Winter also received an IEB Outstanding Achievement, while Emma Brodziak received an IEB Commendable Achievement, placing both students among the top performers nationally.
Several Constantia students achieved particularly high marks within individual subjects, earning placement in the IEB Top 1% nationally. These included Keira Winter for Life Orientation, Marine Sciences and Mathematics; Emma Brodziak for Dramatic Arts and History; David Fox for Mathematics and Physical Sciences; Joshua Barham-Smith for Mathematics, Benjamin Hulls for Economics, Eve Corbett for Life Orientation, Travis Mostert for Mathematical Literacy, Sofia Ahmed for Mathematical Literacy, !Khuboab Lawrence for Mathematical Literacy and Ilané Kotze for Afrikaans First Additional Language (96%) and Visual Arts (97%).
These subject achievements reflect both academic rigour and the school’s commitment to developing depth across sciences, humanities and creative disciplines.
School-wide performance
In total, Reddam House Constantia achieved 303 distinctions, with 31 students securing an A aggregate and 70% of the cohort achieving an A or B aggregate, reaffirming the school’s reputation as a historically academically strong campus.
On average, students achieved approximately three distinctions per student, reflecting consistent performance across the cohort alongside exceptional top-end achievement.

Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard (ASB) celebrates strong subject-level excellence alongside consistent achievement across the cohort.
Alessandro Ribero-Fassbender achieved placement in the IEB Top 1% nationally for Life Sciences (92%) and Mathematical Literacy (94%), reflecting exceptional performance and academic focus.
School-wide performance
A key highlight for the campus is that a third of all students achieved four or more distinctions, demonstrating academic depth and consistency across the cohort.
On average, students achieved approximately 2.5 distinctions per student, reflecting steady attainment supported by a highly personalised learning environment.
Lisettè Noonan, Head of Reddam House Atlantic Seaboard, says the results reflect strong learner ownership and close partnerships:
