What a proud moment! Four of Paarl Schodol‘s learners were named category winners at this year’s Paarl Valley Eisteddfod. The gala event was held at Hugenote Primary in Wellington this morning. Awards were given to: Blessing Nyamayaro – senior singing 13 years and Jamè Nel, Atleyiso Belebesi and Sage April for visual art. We also received an Honourary Membership Award for exceptional support and dedication to the Paarl Valley Eisteddfod. This award celebrates Paarl School as the only school for learners with special needs for participation in this mainstream Eisteddfod, producing category winners and Ronel van Dijk for her huge contribution towards the visual arts.
