Laerskool Aliwal-Noord rugby uitslae:Rugby: Hangklip Dag o.11 Saterdag die 18de het die Alies 0.11-rugbyspan in hulle eerste wedstryde vir die jaar teen Selborne en George Randall gespeel. The boys did their best and enjoyed both the games.

o.13:

Saterdag, 18 Maart 2023, het die o.13-rugby toerspan aan die Hangklip skoledag deelgeneem, as voorbereiding vir hul toer na Rustenburg. The day gave the team and coaches the opportunity to play against other teams that we don’t usually compete against during the season. Die span van LSAN verloor hul eerste wedstryd vir die dag teen Selborne Primary 20-5 en wen hul tweede wedstryd teen Laerskool Gonubie 35-0. Overall, it was a great day for the sport of rugby and the players showed great Alie-sportsmanship on and off the field.

Rugby on the farm U11-and U13 Rugbytour

Thorn trees, antelopes, scorpions, ants and mosquitos – is that rugby. Ja, 4 afrigters en 38 spelers het die toer na Jaru sportakademie aangepak.  Die doel: Spanbou, afrigting deur hoë vlak afrigters en om jou beste kombinasies te kan kies.  Die meeste skole was vanuit Noordwes en Gauteng met die Alies en Frankfort die kleinste skole.  Die ander skole het 800 en meer leerlinge. The U11’s struggled and had to try and build a “new team”.  They won one of their matches.  Die o.13’s wen 3 van hulle 4 wedstryde en eindig 2de. A big thank you to all the parents who supported their children and all of them who helped to raise funds for the players.
