Several of our Hillcrest High School soccer players from our Girls’ and Boys’ teams were selected to represent the Highway District at the Inter-District Soccer Tournaments.  For the U14 Girls’ Team, Theresli Meyers, Grace Humphreys and Langelihle Nxumalo, in the U15 Girls’ Tema, Ayabonga Mthembu, Lwandle Vukeka, Sophie Buccimazza and Senamile Mvelase, in the U16 Girls’ Team Awande Nzuza and Thingo Dlamini, and in the U19 Girls’ Team, Kiara Botha, Ayanda Ngidi, Kylie Coetzee, Eryn Beech, Lola Klijnstra.

In the Boys’ Teams, Philisa Mngwengwe and Stefan Chetty represented U15, Sinalithemba Mkhize, Tanaka Chinodakufa, Thando Ndlovu and Mohale Sakuneka played for U16 and Xolela Ngejane, Thingo Shezi, Msizi Hadebe, Tumelo Mapotse, and Rowan Bansi played for the U19 side.

From these trials, Grace Humphreys, Theresli Meyers, and Langalihle Nxumalo were selected to play in the final round for the Girls’ U14 squad, Sophie Buccimazza and Lwandle Vukeka for U15, and Eryn Beech for the U19 Girls’ Team.
