Grand Slam Excitement as Durban Hosts Prestigious Tennis Tournaments

Durban-based Curro Hillcrest will be serving up three weeks of smashing tennis action by hosting the Curro Centre Court Series from Monday, 17 June to 7 July 2024. This highly anticipated series of men’s and women’s prize tournaments forms part of the International ITF World Tennis Tour in collaboration with Tennis South Africa (TSA). Promising to be a landmark on the international tennis calendar, the series marks the thrilling return of professional men’s international tennis to South Africa which was last seen in 2021.

The series will begin with an M15 and W15 tournament from 17-23 June, featuring a total prize fund of $30,000. This will be followed by a combined M25 and W15 competition from 23-30 June, with $25,000 and $15,000 in prize money for men and women, respectively. The series will culminate in a combined M15 and W35 event from 1-7 July, offering $15,000 in prize money for men and $25,000 for women. To find out more, visit curro.co.za.
