Farewell to the A Block boys of Michaelhouse School

Michael House School A Block boys took their final walk down Warriors Walk, cheered on by the rest of the school. Before that, they joined Old Boys Club committee executives in the chapel to receive their tie, a Bible, and the commemorative Stars of the Morning by Gary Ralfe (West, 1958–1961).
Our chaplain reminded the boys that while their five years here may have come to an end, they are now being sent and commissioned, stepping into a new chapter. We hope they carry with them what it means to be a Michaelhouse man, to live with understanding, aware of others and ready to act with integrity; to pursue thought, staying curious and reflective in all they do; and to embody culture, with character, soul, and a spirit that enriches those around them.
The campus has felt very quiet today, yet there is a deep sense of pride as we consider our boys stepping forward to take their place in the world. So, Class of 2025, we send you forward with the strength of brotherhood behind you. May you carry the courage and joy of your years here at Michaelhouse into the adventures ahead, knowing you belong to something greater than yourselves. To the rest of our boys, and to all our families, we wish a festive season filled with rest, celebration, and togetherness.
