Curro Thatchfield Independent School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of Neelo Makgae, Reabetswe Motau, Tshwanelo Motau, Olebogeng Malema, and Rendani Raliphada, who trialled in February for their South African Majorette Colours. These talented athletes emerged as deserving recipients of this prestigious national honour.

Among them, Olebogeng Malema and Rendani Raliphada have been selected for the 2025 South African National Team, which will compete on the global stage in Croatia this September. Furthermore, Reabetswe Motau, Neelo Makgae, Olebogeng Malema, and Rendani Raliphada have secured spots on the National Team for the 2026 World Championships – a remarkable achievement that marks the pinnacle of success in their sport.

Coach Lerato Chele shared her pride in their achievements, saying: ‘Dedication, resilience, and unwavering determination have paved the way for these five exceptional athletes, who have risen to the pinnacle of South African majorettes. Their commitment, talent, and discipline have positioned them among the country’s elite athletes. We commend their consistency and commitment to excellence.
