Congratulations to Cannons Creek Independent School who achieved several awards at the Metro Central Education District NSC Awards Ceremony, honouring the 2025 Matric Class. The event was held at SACS on 11 February 2026. The awards achieved were as follows: Attaining 100% pass rate in 2025; Number of Bachelor passes above 90% – Public and Independent schools; Consistency with 70-80% pass rate in either or both Mathematics and Physical Sciences – Public and Independent schools (with more than 20 pupils); Ciaran Steenveld – top CAT and Accounting mark in Metro Central and the top overall pupil in Independent schools in Metro Central; and Ella Molema – top Mathematical Literacy mark in Metro Central. The staff and Matrics of 2025 are to be congratulated.
