Courtrai Primary learner Lowen Schabort achieved some outstanding results at the Regional SA Level 3 swimming competition. He achieved the following:

• Gold (5): 200m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 100m backstroke, 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly.
• Silver (2): 100m freestyle and 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
• Bronze (2): 4 x 100m freestyle relay and 200m freestyle.
