Winelands Primary’s Eco-Club celebrated world bee day by learning more about this precious insect. A beekeeper, Mr. Jacobus Pansegrouw, informed learners of the importance of bees. Learners watched a short film about bees while eating popcorn and drinking cool drinks. Then learners had a taste of honey and received a colouring page about bees. Let’s protect bees, without them, there would be no life on Earth!
