The turf is shared between Westville Girls’ High School, Westville Boys’ High School, Gryphons Hockey Club, us and our community club. The Westville Schools’ Hockey Trust has given the astro a new irrigation system, new lighting and a change of colour from green to blue. “Westville Senior Primary is very proud to be a part of this amazing development for the Westville Schools. Westville Senior has recently had an advance of its sports programme and the opening of the revamped and resurfaced Westville Schools Hockey Trust Astro will not only add to our offering and the upliftment of hockey at our schools, but we also look forward to the increased participation of learners from our Primary School, and the Westville Junior Primary School through the Gryphons Academy based at the astro. The presentation today goes to show the strength and increased collaboration of the Westville Schools as we strive for excellence both on and off the pitch.” Robert Webber – Principal of Westville Senior Primary School.
