Wembley College Teachers Dominate Scholar Match with their Might. On the weekend, Wembley teachers took on the High school scholars in the matrics’ final hockey match of the season.  The matric scholars came dressed for success in their pyjamas.  Our strong, disciplined, professional teachers’ team were overwhelming in their numbers and brightly coloured socks.  It was a tightly contested match.  Player of the match went to the head of the Junior School  Mrs Goble who swept the field with her “Harry Potter” broom-stick.  Mr Taljaard, the head of Academics in the High School was the player with the most potential but unfortunately he was yellow carded on numerous occasions for back-chatting the referee. Mrs Sneyd, Head of Pastoral Care in the High School was disqualified for carry an extra player on board.  Well done to both teams for providing the school with the most entertaining play of the season.
