The Wembley Junior School Speech and Drama Festival was a great success this year. Each class recited one English choral verse item and one Afrikaans. We had 58 individual entries. The categories that were entered were: Poetry, My News, and Show and Tell. Mrs Ann Walmsley was the adjudicator from the Speech and Drama Association. She awarded 34 gold certificates.
