At Sunningdale Primary, talent runs in the family – and Nicole and Micaela Onwuka are proof of it! These two dedicated sisters have taken their passion for netball to new heights, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements. Nicole Onwuka (U11) was selected for the Cape Town Primary Schools team and showcased her skills at the provincial tournament in Riversdale this July. Competing against strong opponents, Nicole and her team secured an impressive 4th place finish – a remarkable accomplishment at this level of play. Micaela Onwuka (U13) took things to the next level by earning her spot in the Western Cape Schools Team. In June, she represented the province at the prestigious South African Schools Netball Tournament in Gauteng, where her team made history by bringing home the gold medal! Nicole and Micaela’s hard work, teamwork, and love for the game are an inspiration to their peers. We are incredibly proud to celebrate their success and to have both sisters representing Sunningdale Primary on such big stages. Well done, Onwuka sisters – you are true ambassadors of our school’s spirit and determination!
