Newton Primary School, in proud partnership with Sol Plaatje University, hosted an inspiring Science Fair on Friday, 17 April 2026. A heartfelt thank you to all our learners who participated — your enthusiasm, creativity, and hard work truly inspired us! We would also like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Phillip Olifant from Mosalakae Public Primary School for bringing your wonderful learners, as well as Mrs. Odette du Plessis and her incredible team of students from Sol Plaatje University for assisting with judging and helping make the day unforgettable.
This event was about so much more than projects and experiments — it was a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and discovery. It encouraged our learners to ask bold questions, explore new ideas, and think differently. “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world.” – Albert Einstein
Every learner has the power to imagine, innovate, and shape a better future. Whether big or small, every project mattered. What truly counts is the courage to learn, experiment, and keep asking, “what if?”
We are incredibly proud of all our learners and look forward to the next exciting event!
