Our Crawford International La Lucia Pre-Primary campus was buzzing with excitement as we proudly welcomed our very own Recycling SchoolPet Fish.We were thrilled to host our friends from Re-Purpose, SchoolPet, and Polyco, along with their incredible teams of passionate environmental champions, to officially launch this meaningful initiative. This isn’t just any fish – it’s on a mission to help our young learners understand the importance of recycling, reducing waste, and protecting our oceans from plastic pollution.

Through interactive demonstrations and engaging discussions, our students discovered what materials the SchoolPet Fish can “eat” and why sorting waste correctly matters. In a way that was simple, practical, and age-appropriate, they began to see how their everyday choices can positively impact the world around them. Adding to the fun and excitement, the Recycling Mascots made a special appearance, filling the space with laughter and energy as they got everyone singing and dancing along to a catchy recycling song. Their message was clear and powerful: use the correct bins, think before you throw, and remember that every small action adds up to meaningful change. The event was filled with vibrant energy, curiosity, and a shared commitment to caring for our planet. We are so proud to see our little environmental stewards already embracing their role in building a more sustainable future – one recycled item at a time.
