Kabega Primary  School learner Lyra Harmse took part in the Lifesaving Eastern Cape at the Lifesaving SA Interprovincial Surf Championships in Mosselbay. She recieved a Silver in flags: 2nd best in the country. She recieved a gold in the beach sprints fastes in tge country .
