Gold for Fairmont High School karateka. Congratulations to Jordan Abrahams (Grade 9) for his recent Open Karate achievements. Jordan won a gold medal at the World Union Karate Federation SA Nationals and All Africa Open held from 31 March to 2 April 2023 held at the Boardwalk Hotel and Convention Centre in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.

Jordan is eligible to represent New World Shotokan Karate (NWS) at the WUKF World Championships in Scotland, Dundee from 3 to 16 July 2023. He is now part of the NWS Karate SA Team as he came first in his age division. His group consisted of 13 competitors. Well done Jordan, we are proud of you.
