Curro Durbanville swimmer breaks multiple records

 Joanica Kriegler, a Grade 12 learner from Curro Durbanville High School, competed in the recent SA Senior Nationals competition. Joanica did extremely well and broke several records at the competition. Her results are as follow:

Joanica Kriegler Multi-class: S10

• 50 Free – Silver
• 50 Breast – Bronze
• 50 Fly – Gold
• 100 Breast – Bronze
• 100 Back – Silver
• 50 Back – Silver
• 200 IM – Silver
• 100 Free – Silver

Joanica also broke the U18 – S10 category SA records in the following events:

• 50m Butterfly – she broke the record twice
• 100m Breast – she broke the record twice
• 200m IM – she broke the record twice

Joanica also set a new MC, meet competition, record – S10 Open SA record in the woman 200m IM event – she broke the record twice.
