Cannons Creek Independent Primary School proudly supported Slipper Day on 29 May, and all the hard work The Reach For A Dream Foundation does.

The school managed to raise in excess of R4200 for this worthy cause, and wore slippers to show support for children with life-threatening illnesses who spend most of their time in slippers. “It’s all about inspiring hope and making dreams come true for brave kiddos who are fighting life-threatening illnesses while having some fun.”

Grade RR pupils sliding into comfort and happiness for Slipper Day – Harper Jordaan, Kay Classen, Emma Gopal, Anton Rous, Charlotte van Haght, Oliver Osborn, Avya Maimin, and Ms Megan Hector (Teacher).

2. Grade 4 pupils putting their best foot forward for Slipper Day – Aaron Challis, Rori Rooseboom, James September, Rae Rockhill, Suri Naidoo, and Ada Irvine.

By wearing slippers, the Grade 4s tried to give hope to children fighting their toughest battles, and help them believe that tomorrow is worth fighting for – Abigail Spencer, Lea Dorsamy, Mrs Lisa Gopal (Teacher), Kira Hemp, and Carter Ball.

Grade 1 pupils Emma Brett, Harrison Baird, Hannah Webb, Rania Parker, Sumairah Begg, and Caleb Brittan were proud to show their support for kids fighting life-threatening illnesses

Grade 1s Samuel Tesfai, Wade Kotze, Elizabeth Naude, Ethan Vink, and Endinako Rambuda doing it for the dreamers, on Slipper Day.

Seeing the world from a different perspective – Grade 2s showing their support for Slipper Day: Taylor Classen, Zaeem Raciet, Nathan Challis, Aedan Shaw, Rahma Hendricks, Athena-Jane Bedien-Kasolo, Maddison Martin, Hannah Matthews, and Cyra Emmnuel.
