The King’s School West Rand Grade R learners proudly presented their Community Worker projects this past Friday. From doctors and firefighters to police officers, veterinarians, and pilots, each learner chose a community helper and shared why their role is so important.
This activity is designed to build confidence by speaking in front of other people, using a loud audible voice and sharing information that they have learnt about. We also learn to sit quietly and listen to our friends – another important skill for Grade R learners to learn.
We are so proud of the confidence, creativity, and effort shown in every presentation! Learning about the people who help our communities grow and thrive was such a meaningful and fun experience for our little learners.
