The SACEE National Public Speaking prizegiving took place online. This year, the competition was held in a hybrid fashion – both online video entries and in-person entries were accepted. Wynberg Girls’ High School hosted one of the in-person legs of the competition on 6 May 2025. We are proud to announce that Asenat Hasan (Grade 8) placed third in the Junior division, while Nima Shanly (Grade 9) placed first in the Junior division. Moreover, Wynberg Girls’ High School was announced as the overall winning school for 2025 with the highest average scores. All our entrants did incredibly well and we are thrilled to see our Public Speaking Club achieve this.
