Congratulations to Volksrust High School old boy Thabani Magubane who received the ‘Best Upcoming Male Author’ in ‘The Book Behind Awards’. The Book Behind Awards is an annual event seeking to recognise and celebrate South African authors. Their mission is to bring to light, the efforts and inspiration behind the book, which is often left outside the book cover. They aim to encourage the youth to take literature as a career through career exhibitions and career workshops, and to mentor and coach both published and unpublished authors.
