Volksrust High School proudly hosted its 42nd Annual Amajuba Sports Week during the recent school holidays — and it was without a doubt one for the books! With passionate players, top-tier coaching, and incredible matchups across all age groups, this year’s tournament was a massive success.

World-Class Coaching to Kickstart the Days Each morning began with skills sessions hosted by the renowned Hubach Hockey Academy, known for its coaching team made up of five international players and coaches, as well as several provincial stars. These sessions provided an inspiring platform for player development, sharpening our girls’ skills and boosting their confidence ahead of their afternoon fixtures.

U14 Match Results: Dominance and Teamwork Our U14 girls were on fire throughout the week, playing seven matches and going unbeaten — a remarkable accomplishment for this young team!

The Senior Week saw 20 teams from all over descending on Volksrust for an action-packed tournament. While the weather was a bit wet, it didn’t dampen the energy or the spirit of the games. Our 1st Team was in top form and delivered excellent results:

VHS vs Wagpos Won 1–0

Their consistent dominance and teamwork throughout the week were truly commendable.

Our 2nd Team played with heart and precision.
