On the afternoon of 17 September 2024, Grade 9 learners were given the opportunity to view the various exhibitions and to satisfy their curiosity regarding the subjects presented. From 18:00 in the evening it was the opportunity of the parents and guardians to do the same after being informed about the necessity of parental involvement by our school principal, Mrs Smit. This was followed by the deputy principal, Mrs Pringle, explaining to those present the administrative requirements regarding subject choices at VHS.

“At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.” – Jane D. Hull
