Volksrust High School Cross Country Team results from the third HHL Cross Country League 2024 .On 7 August 2024, the Volksrust High School Cross Country teams participated in the third HHL Cross Country league at Morgezon Landbou Akademie. The teams demonstrated that hard work pays off.  The Junior Girls Team commenced the day’s events with a remarkable performance, securing a respectable second place overall. A standout individual achievement came from Saphira van Aswegen, earning a third place.  Asanda Ngwenya once again emerged as a standout performer, seizing the silver medal.

Mangqoba Mashini again solidified Volksrust’s dominance in the Senior Boys division by securing the gold medal. His triumph, amidst fierce competition, demonstrates his exceptional athleticism and determination. The Senior Boys team placed a well-deserved second position in the third league.We look forward to the final results from the last league which took place on the 14th of August. Although the athletes have had their fair share of challenges this season, they are all determined to show Volkie guts and determination at the HHL Inter High taking place in Secunda on the 21st of August 2024.
