The King’s School West Rand were unexpectedly called to gather on the grass, with no one quite sure what was happening. As the entire The King’s School West Rand came together, there was a buzz of curiosity and excitement in the air, and then came the big surprise: the announcement of our mascot competition winner! This competition was launched between the Gauteng King’s Schools, under the King’s Education Group umbrella.

A huge congratulations to Tawana Manyika, whose incredible design of a bold and inspiring eagle captured the heart of the school. His creativity and attention to detail truly brought this mascot to life.

We are so proud of him and so excited about this special moment. What an amazing privilege to have a mascot designed by one of our very own learners — a symbol that will represent King’s Schools for years to come.
